Invitation to Help Create Our Future

We are looking to the future and want to add some new leaders to the Tiburon Peninsula Village (TPV), a dynamic, connected community of older adults who live in Strawberry, Tiburon and Belvedere.TPV, a pioneer in the growing national Village movement, was founded by a small group of local volunteers several years ago as part of Marin Villages.

Sharing a common desire to build a network of friendship and support among older residents on the Tiburon Peninsula, we are dedicated to enhancing the ability of our members to live independently and to remain active and integral to our community as we age.
If you are interested in taking an active role in our ever-changing organization, please let us know by emailing our TPV member and volunteer Cherie Sorokin: cheryl.sorokin@gmail.comWhile we are looking specifically for potential steering committee members for the years ahead, be assured whatever experience, skills and  talents you possess will be put to good use.

  • Are there events and happenings we are missing that we should know about?
  • Is there is an event you would like us to sponsor? Games you would like to play?  Places you would like to visit? Issues you'd like to talk about? Movies, Theater you'd like to see? Group walks?
  • If you have any big news you'd like to share: art shows, poetry readings, new books, awards, etc, please let us know, we'd like to acknowledge you.
