Greetings and happy April to our San Rafael Villagers!  We hope all our members and volunteers will consider joining us this month at an event or program.  If you need a ride, just call the office and we will make sure to get you there!!

FIRST WEDNESDAY COFFEE           2:00PM             

Join us for an afternoon gathering at the home of Rhea Wolkowitz. All members and volunteers are invited and encouraged to bring a guest to meet the friendly folks of San Rafael Village.  15 Milano Place, San Rafael (Peacock Gap)

Monday, April 9

MOVIE GROUP    at approx. 4:00PM             

We meet for late afternoon movie and dinner.  On the Thursday before the second Monday of each month (our monthly movie date), those Villagers on the movie-goers list will receive notice of which movie has been chosen. This place is famous for their delicious moles made from traditional

family recipes and farm fresh ingredients.   If you don't know what mole is, have

fun looking it will be amazed at the combination of ingredients and 

different types. They also serve a wide range of traditional Spanish, Mexican

and Latin influenced dishes. Please bring cash and plan a 20% tip, in return they will give us individual checks.  Bring your friends and prospective volunteers and

Information Session on the History of Cannabis Regulation and the Implications of Proposition 64, with Speaker Dr. Larry Bedard            1-2:30PM

Central Marin Police Station, 250 Doherty Drive, Larkspur

Have you wondered what all the hoopla is about regarding cannabis use? Are you curious about the implications of the changes that went into effect January 1st?  Dr. Bedard will help us better understand both the history of cannabis regulation and what the impact of these changes may be, particularly for our demographic. The format of the session will be about half presentation and half Q&A, so bring your questions for a lively session.Dr. Bedard is currently serving as a director on the Board of the Marin Healthcare District. Before that he practiced emergency room medicine for over 30 years.
