We encourage members and volunteers to bring guests to Novato Village events and activities -- help spread the word and grow our Village!  If you need a ride to an event, please call Marin Village at 415-457-4633 about four days in advance of the event.  Also, check out to view the wide variety of Village activities throughout Marin that are available to you as Village members and/or volunteers.

MONTHLY COFFEE (2nd Wednesday of every month)

Where:  Nova-Ro III Community Room, 31 Pinheiro Circle, Novato

Directions:  101 north to San Marin/Atherton exit, left on San Marin Dr., left on Redwood, right on Pinheiro Circle.

Parking:  Street parking is available on Pinheiro Circle past the Club House and also on Redwood

We’re happy to have Carol-Ann Moore from the Novato Independent Elders Program at our coffee this month.  Carol will discuss the ‘Eat Well’ program which supports healthy eating as we age, along with other special events that NIEP sponsors. Bring your friends/neighbors and get to know fellow members and volunteers in an cozy, informal setting.  There's always lively conversation, good coffee/tea and lots of tasty treats.  Thank you to our NovaRo III hostess Barbara Bendik! Where: San Andreas Trailhead in Novato (moderate)

Directions:   From US 101 North, take exit 463 (Atherton/San Marin Dr), turn left onto San Marin Dr.  In 2.1 miles, turn right onto San Andreas Dr. In 0.6 miles, you'll see the trailhead for Mount Burdell.

Parking:  Street parking is available near the trailhead.

Here's another Novato Village group that really knows how to have fun! Boggle is a game played using a plastic grid of lettered dice in which players attempt to find words in sequences of adjacent letters. Be prepared to boggle your mind and have a blast!

This is our first no-host Happy Hour event for Novato Village!  Volunteers and Members, please bring  your friends, neighbors or anyone who’d like to know more about the Village movement. Join us for fun and conversation, meet other volunteers and members, and learn what Novato Village has in store for 2017.  (Plus, enjoy the ten mile view from this historic hilltop estate!)

Where:  Novato City Hall, 901 Sherman, Novato

Cost:  Free

Live music is back for the spring season at Novato City Hall. Last year this popular concert series brought some wonderful singer/songwriters to town. This fun event is provided by Novato Parks & Recreation, with a pop-up cash bar courtesy of Finnegans Marin.

A wide variety of services will be offered including: blood pressure checks, cranial sacral work, acupuncture for older adults, dental evaluations, hearing and vision screenings, fall prevention tips, walker and cane adjustments, glucose testing, memory screening, and medication drop-off.  Snacks will be provided by Whole Foods. Co-presented by Marin Independent Elders, Audiology Assocs., Marin Acupuncture, Hospice by the Bay, Powojski Keelen Chiropractic, Marin Comm. Clinic, Marin Eye Care, Novato Comm. Hospital, Novato Dermatology, Sutter Care at Home, Novato Sanitary District, Senior Access, Veolia Water and the City of Novato.

Cost:  $35-135.  Purchase tickets at
